EPU Children's Center

EPU Children’s Center serves as a Parent Training and Information Center. Our mission is to provide parents of children birth to 26 years of age with disabilities the training and information they need to help their children meet developmental, functional, and challenging academic goals in order to lead productive and independent adult lives; and to provide youth with disabilities the training and information they need to understand their rights and advocate for their needs in transition and upon reaching the age of majority.

What we do:

CONNECT families with staff members who are parents and family members of a loved one living with a disability.

EQUIP families with knowledge through trainings, workshops, and clinics on Special Education processes, laws, rights, and responsibilities.COLLABORATE with parents and professionals through phone calls, meetings, and trainings, in order to best serve the person with special needs.ENCOURAGE families to continue to advocate for their family.
